ABOUT THIS WEBSITE

This website is edited and maintained by Vinod Scaria.

This website is an endeavor on my part to create a 'different' gateway for Medical Websites- a gateway which is informative and trustworthy, and in addition fostering, motivating and promoting research on e-health applications.

The first version of Virtualmed was launched on August2002.The comments and letters of appreciation which poured in from all corners of the world prompted me to launch the 2nd version - incorporating a host of new features, and tailoring our portal to the needs of our users by including channel partners.

The motivation for creating such a gateway was my personal experiences as a medical student who went on searching critical and trustworthy medical information, but was often turned down by the lack of a single gateway  which was tailored to meet one's needs.

This website is dedicated to all Medical Students, Professionals and all people searching for Health information on the vast Internet.

I would be glad to hear from you. Any constructive criticism is welcome.
